ODOT District Two Winter Weather Update
BOWLING GREEN (Saturday, December 10, 2016) – Crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two are ready for upcoming winter weather in Northwest Ohio.
Across the area, plow trucks are already patrolling Northwest Ohio as snowfall approaches.
Tonight at midnight, over 120 snow plow trucks in Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Williams and Wood counties will roll into 12 hour shifts, and treat and plow state and federal highways in Northwest Ohio.
Crews will continue twelve hour shifts through Monday, when weather conditions are expected to improve.
Overnight tonight and early Sunday, ODOT remind drivers to use caution and drive to the conditions of the road.
Remove snow from all windows, mirrors and lights.
Drive well below the posted speed limit and leave plenty of room between cars.
