State Route 2 Culvert Replacement Project
BOWLING GREEN (Thursday, June 23, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the start of the Navarre Avenue/SR 2 culvert replacement project in Lucas County. E.S. Wagner Company of Oregon, Ohio, is expected to start work on the $939,000 project the week of July 4.
State Route 2: Culvert Replacement
Lucas County (44-15): Effective Wednesday, July 6, through August, Navarre Avenue/SR 2, between Cresceus Road and Patchen Road, will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: I-280; Woodville Road/SR 51 (Exit 6B); Navarre Avenue. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.

As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
