State Route 25 Safety Improvement Project
BOWLING GREEN (Wednesday, April 27, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the State Route 25 safety improvement project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
State Route 25: Safety Project
Lucas County (299-15): Effective Thursday, April 28, from 9am until 3pm, southbound (outbound from downtown Toledo) Anthony Wayne Trail, between Western Avenue and South Avenue, may be reduced to one lane for pavement repair. Through, Thursday, April 28, Western Avenue west of the Anthony Wayne Trail, will be closed for pavement work. Detour: South Avenue; Detroit Avenue/US 24; Airport Highway/SR 2. Through September, southbound (outbound from downtown Toledo) Anthony Wayne Trail, between Hippo Way and City Park Boulevard, is reduced two lanes for pavement rehabilitation. Weekend closure of South Avenue will be announced. Project complete: November. All work is weather permitting.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
