State Route 51 Bridge Rehabilitation Project
BOWLING GREEN (Monday, March 27, 2017) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following updates to the SR 51 bridge rehabilitation project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
State Route 51: Bridge Rehabilitation Project
Lucas County (550-16): Through Monday, April 3, lane restrictions are possible on I-75, between Bancroft Street and Lincoln Avenue, for bridgework. Effective Tuesday, March 28 at noon, until Wednesday, March 29 at 6am, the ramp from Detroit Avenue to southbound I-75 may be closed for bridge work. Detour: Monroe Street; Lawrence Avenue. Additional restrictions and closures will be announced. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.

ODOT's mission is to provide the safe and easy movement of people and goods from place to place. As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
