State Route 51 Culvert Replacements
BOWLING GREEN (Monday, April 04, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the start of the State Route 51 culvert replacements. The project includes replacing four culverts on SR 51 over Little Cedar, Ayers, Dry, and Crane Creeks. Geddis Paving, of Toledo Ohio, is expected to start work on the $1.6 million project during the week of April 11.

Wood County (618-15): Effective Monday, April 11, through May, SR 51, between Frey Road and Mathews Road, will be closed for culvert replacement. Detour: SR 795; I-280. Additional closures will be announced. Project complete: September. All work is weather permitting.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
