State Route 53 Traffic Signal Upgrades
BOWLING GREEN (Friday, January 06, 2017) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following updates to the SR 53 traffic signal upgrade project in Sandusky County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
State Route 53: Traffic Signal Upgrades
Sandusky County (301-16): Today, through 6pm, lane restrictions are possible on SR 53, between US 20 and Sean Street, for signal work. Through January 2017, shoulder restrictions are possible on SR 53, between US 20 and Sean Street, for finish work. Additional restrictions may be announced. Project Complete: February 2017. All work is weather permitting.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
