State Route 51 Pavement Repair Project
BOWLING GREEN (Tuesday, May 16, 2017) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update to the SR 51 pavement repair project in Ottawa & Wood Counties. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined:
State Route 51: Pavement Repair
Ottawa & Wood Counties (194-16): Effective Tuesday, May 23, through Thursday, May 25, SR 51, between Martin Williston Road and Nottingham Drive, will be closed for bridge repair. Detour: SR 163; SR 420/I-280; SR 795. Through June, lane restrictions are possible on SR 51, between SR 163 and SR 579, for pavement repairs. Project Complete: June. All work is weather permitting.

As a $2.8 billion per year enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
