and Dorr Street Interchange Construction
St. to close Monday, December 2
GREEN (Monday, November 25) - Shortly after beginning the I-475
widening project between Central Avenue/US 20 and Airport Highway/SR 2,
including adding an interchange at Dorr St., it was determined that
westbound Dorr St. between Holland Sylvania Rd. and McCord Rd. would
need to be closed earlier than anticipated.
Monday, December 2, and lasting through October 2020, westbound Dorr
St. traffic between Holland Sylvania Rd. and McCord Rd. will be
detoured north on Holland Sylvania Rd., west on Bancroft St., and then
south on McCord Rd. back to Dorr St.
closure allows crews to safely begin waterline and sewer work, mitigate
utility delays, and reduce congestion due to flagging operations.
Dorr St. traffic is maintained.
