U.S. Route 20 Central Avenue Interchange Project
BOWLING GREEN (Tuesday, May 31, 2016) - The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two announces the following update on the US 20 Central Avenue interchange project in Lucas County. Updates are highlighted in bold and underlined.
U.S. Route 20: Central Avenue Interchange Project
Lucas County (210-15): Today, through Friday, June 3, expect lane restrictions on Central Avenue from McCord Road to I-475 for barrier wall work. Effective Monday, June 6, through November, Central Avenue, between McCord Road and Van Fleet Parkway, will be reduced to one lane. The connector road from Wilford Drive to Plainview Drive is now open.
Through December, southbound US 23 traffic is reduced to one lane from the I-475/US 23 split in Sylvania to Central Avenue. Through September 2017, overnight from 9pm until 6am, lane restrictions are possible on I-475/US 23 between Dorr Street and N. Holland Sylvania Road. 11-foot lane width restrictions are in place within the work zone. Additional restrictions may be announced. Project complete: September 2017. All work is weather permitting.
