ODOT District Two Winter Weather Update
BOWLING GREEN (Saturday, January 31, 2015) –The Ohio Department of Transportation District Two is gearing up for an upcoming winter storm expected to reach the area late tonight. At this time, significant snowfall of at least eight inches, along with strong winds are expected across northwest Ohio.
Due to changes in the forecast, crews are arriving at 10pm tonight. At this time, the fleet of over 100 trucks will take to the road. Twelve hour shifts are likely to continue through Monday night, possibly longer if conditions warrant.
ODOT District Two, covers 3,000 lane miles of state and federal routes in Fulton, Henry, Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Williams and Wood counties.
