Bowling Green -- The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) District Two has received numerous requests for maps of the preliminary US 24 alternative corridors that are being considered in the study phase. To provide the public an additional opportunity to view the corridors, ODOT, has made the maps available for the public to view at the following agencies:

Safety concerns such as increasing truck volumes and accidents have prompted the US 24 study. Ultimately, a preferred alternative will be selected that will relieve present and anticipated congestion between Napoleon and Toledo, reduce safety problems and improve the economic vitality of interstate commerce within the region. The study process is scheduled to be completed in 2003.
