Upcoming State Route 18 public meeting scheduled
Medina (Thursday, January 30, 2014) – The District Three Office of the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has scheduled a public meeting, open to residents, local officials and interested persons, for the purpose of providing information for our proposal to improve the State Route (SR) 18 corridor from just west of Alber Drive in the City of Medina to Nettleton Road in Medina County.
The purpose of this project is to relieve congestion along the main east-west commercial corridor through the City of Medina; improve safety by reducing traffic accidents; improve access to businesses; enhance pedestrian/bicycle facilities; and improve the aesthetic quality of the corridor with the aim of encouraging economic development.
