Upcoming US Route 42 meeting scheduled

Planned improvement project in Medina will increase safety and reduce congestion

Medina (Tuesday, February 25, 2014) – The District Three Office of the Ohio Department of Transportation has scheduled a public meeting, open to residents, local officials and interested persons,  for the purpose of providing information for our proposed improvement of US Route 42 from Harding Street to Fenn Road in the City of Medina and Medina Township.
The purpose of this project is to relieve congestion and improve safety along the main north-south roadway and major commercial area through the City of Medina. In addition, improvements along this corridor are being planned with the intent of encouraging economic development.
The meeting will be conducted in an open-house style format, which means you may visit at any time during the meeting. No formal presentation will be made. The meeting will be a good opportunity to be updated on the project, meet with the project team, view exhibits and express any comments or concerns you may have about the project.
     Date: Tuesday, March 4, 2014
     Time: 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
     Location: City of Medina Fire Station One - 300 West Reagan Parkway, Medina
