comments on proposed State Route 511 improvements
Rochester (Friday, July 25, 2014) – The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is proposing to replace the existing bridge over the West Branch of
the Black River. This bridge is located
just north of SR 162 in Rochester Township, Lorain County.
The project consists of the replacement of the existing
bridge with a new bridge on existing alignment.
This work will also include the relocation of the existing channel. New right-of-way will be acquired to complete

Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), we are seeking comments from the public about
the social, environmental and economic impacts of the proposed project. Environmental impacts include those associated
with historical, archeological and ecological resources, hazardous materials
and general concerns you may have with the project. Written comments concerning the proposed
