Comments for a Bridge Replacement on US20 in Lorain County
Ohio Department of Transportation is
proposing a bridge replacement located on US20 in Lorain County at the 20.47
mile marker, 0.78 miles west of SR83.
project will remove the existing stone arch bridge that was built in 1900, and
replace it with a modern concrete slab bridge. The existing bridge is getting
replaced due to the years of service, and the maintenance needed to maintain
the bridge replacement, traffic will be maintained west and east bound
throughout the duration of the project. Proposed work for the replacement will
require new right-of-way from all corners of the structure.
Construction is anticipated
to begin in the summer of 2019.
