Comments for Bridge Replacement Project on State Route 113 in Lorain County
LORAIN COUNTY (Thursday, January 17, 2019) The Ohio Department of Transportation is
proposing a bridge replacement project on State Route 113 in Lorain County at
the 7.76 mile marker. The existing structure is a 13ft long single slab structure that was
built in 1930. The proposed structure will
be a 10’X5’ four-sided concrete box with full height headwalls built on a minor
removal will need to take place to establish the new alignment. All work will
be completed within ODOT’s existing right-of-way.
During construction a full roadway closure will need
to take place, while maintaining full access to the driveways located within
the project area. The detour for traffic will be State Route 58 north, to
Interstate Route 90 east, to State Route 57 south, and back to State Route 113.
