ODOT Seeks
Comments for Culvert Maintenance Project on US224 in Medina County
MEDINA COUNTY (Wednesday, January 30, 2019) The subject project is to perform maintenance on an existing culvert located
in Medina County, on US224 at the 15.61 mile marker. The existing structure is
an 87”X 63”X 180’corrugated metal arch that was built in 1956. The project will
consist of removing all debris inside of the culvert and lining the culvert
with a structural spray liner. The project will also consist of placing rock
channel protection at the outlet of the culvert and replacing the headwalls at
both the inlet and outlet of the structure. All work will be completed within
existing ODOT right-of-way.
During construction traffic will be maintained with
lane closures and signage.
Construction
is anticipated to begin in the winter of 2020, and last approximately 30 days.
