replace traffic signs on various state routes in Lorain County, Ohio
LORAIN COUNTY (Wednesday, August 7, 2019) This is a systematic sign
replacement project at the following locations in Lorain County, Ohio. They

LOR-SR57-10.00 (Arbor Ct.) to 11.80 (Grove Court)
LOR-SR57-20.60 (Elyria Corp.) to 27.31 (US6)
LOR-SR82-0.00 (Lorain Co. Line) to 8.96
LOR-SR82-9.21 to 10.06 (Cuyahoga Co. Line)
LOR-SR113-0.00 (Lorain Co. Line) to 12.74 (SR 57)
LOR-SR252-0.00 (Lorain Co. Line) to 5.55 (Cuyahoga Co. Line)
LOR-SR254-0.43 (Between Farr & River Edge) to 8.85 (Cuyahoga
LOR-SR611-0.00 (US6) to 11.13 (SR254)
will be conducted within existing right-of-way. No deep
excavation or utility relocations will be required to construct this
project. Based on this information, the project is considered exempt from
further regulated material investigations.
There are no streams,
wetlands or threatened and endangered plant and animal species located within
the project area. No trees will be removed to construct this project.
environmental staff accessed the SHPO GIS database on August 7, 2019 and
in accordance with Appendix A of the Section 106 PA executed November 8, 2017,
the project will not impact historic properties or historic districts.
Traffic will be
maintained in all directions during construction using flaggers and Law
Enforcement Officers on a daily basis. Construction is estimated to begin
in May 2020.
