US 224 Safety Improvement Stakeholder Meeting to be Rescheduled

MEDINA COUNTY (Wednesday, April 11, 2018) Due to scheduling conflicts, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) will reschedule the second Stakeholders meeting. The intent of this meeting is to discuss ODOT’s plan to install a reduced conflict U-turn (RCUT) intersection at US 224 and Westfield Road, the installation of right turn lanes on US 224 from Westfield Road back to the U-turn locations, left turn lanes on US 224 from the U-turn locations back to Westfield Road, extending the existing eastbound and westbound left turn lanes at US 224 and Leroy Road. 
Once a new date and time have been established, ODOT will notify the stakeholder group and a new invitation will be released.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
