State Route 18 Closure


LORAIN COUNTY (Friday, March 25, 2016) – SR 18, between Kelly Street and Depot Street in the Village of Wellington, will close Friday, April 1 for railroad crossing repairs.

The detour route for eastbound motorists is SR 18 to SR 511, north on SR 511 to US 20, east on US 20 to SR 58, south on SR 58 to SR 18, and reverse for westbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen April 16, 2016.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
