ODOT District 3 Weekly Construction Report
For the Week of
Work on the
following projects will continue as described throughout the winter. If there
is a substantial change in the impact to traffic, a notice will be sent.
Otherwise, the weekly updates will resume in spring of 2017.
US 250, from just
south of Bogart Rd to Pike Creek, will have intermittent lane closures as
needed as crews continue work on traffic signals. Traffic will be maintained at
all times during the lane closures. Specific project work can be found online
at transportation.ohio.gov/250. Miscellaneous finalization and clean-up work
will be complete by spring 2017.
State Route 82
SR 82, at its intersection with
Boone Rd, will have possible intermittent lane closures as crews complete
signal work, final grading and driveway work. The project is expected to be
complete by spring 2017.
State Route 83
SR 83, in the City of Avon and Avon Lake, will have possible intermittent
lane restrictions as crews complete casting adjustments and maintain striping throughout
the winter. One lane of traffic will
be maintained with flaggers. The project is expected to be complete in July
I-76, at its interchange
with SR 94, and SR 94 (High Street), in the City of Wadsworth, will have
possible intermittent lane closures throughout the length of the project as
crews perform widening work. Please use
caution while navigating thru work zones. Specific project work
can be found online at transportation.ohio.gov/94. Work will continue on
the structure over I-76 as well as miscellaneous drainage work on SR 94 thru
US Route 42 (Pearl Road)
US 42, from just south of Harding Street to just south
of Fenn Road, has intermittent daytime lane
closures along the project corridor as crews work on waterline placement. Specific project work can be found
online at transportation.ohio.gov/42. The project is expected to be complete in
just south of US 30, has southbound shoulder closures and intermittent daytime lane
closures as needed as crews work on a noise wall project. Motorists are advised to watch for construction vehicles entering the
US 30 westbound entrance ramp to I-71. The project is expected to be complete
State Route 97
SR 97, at its
interchange with Interstate 71, has narrowed lanes of traffic for a minor
widening project. Possible intermittent lane closures are possible as crews maintain
the pavement and striping throughout the winter. The project is expected to be
complete by the spring of 2017.

movement of people and goods from place to place. As a $2.8 billion per year
enterprise, ODOT invests the bulk of its resources in system preservation
through maintenance, construction and snow and ice operations.
The environmental review,
consultation and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental
laws for these projects are being, or have been, carried out by ODOT pursuant
to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and
executed by FHWA and ODOT.
