ODOT Seeks Comments on Installation of
Slope Drape and Anchors on the north side of State Route 2 east of the city of
Amherst, Lorain County, Ohio
Lorain County (Thursday,
June 22, 2017) The Ohio Department of Transportation
(ODOT) is proposing to removal of loose and overhanging rocks by hand scaling
and installing slope drapes and anchors on the north side of State Route 2 east
of the City of Amherst, Lorain County, Ohio.
SR 2 westbound lanes will be maintained at all times.
Advance warning signs for any condition which restricts traffic shall be
erected before any such restriction is put into effect. Construction is
anticipated to begin in January 2018 and end in April 2019.
