Identify future highway needs for access management, congestion, safety and operation and how to address these needs by means of performing and/or reviewing various studies. Administer Highway Safety Program (HSP). This section is also responsible for requests and inquiries for New or Revised Traffic Control Devices. However, requests and inquiries related to maintenance and operation of existing Traffic Control Devices should be submitted to Michelle Chaney, P.E. (330-786-2267) in the Highway Management Administration Department.
Oversee section and work to improve coordination amongst other departments.
Requests or inquiries-
Requests for new no-passing zones, new signals, traffic counts, sight distance concerns, general safety concerns etc.
Other informational inquires including items such as guidance on manuals, policy, and processes.
