U. S. Route 62 in the City of Hubbard

(Monday, August 11 - Until further notice)

Beginning Monday, August 11, US 62 from SR 304/Westview Ave. to Moore St. will have various lane restrictions for traffic signal work. This work is the beginning of a $1.7 million project to upgrade 10 traffic signals on US 62 in the City of Hubbard. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late June 2009. 

Hallock Young Road in the Village of Lordstown

(Monday, August 11 - Until further notice)

Beginning Monday, August 11, Hallock Young Rd. from SR 45 to Bailey Road (in front of the General Motors Complex) will be reduced to one lane in each direction for resurfacing work. This work is part of an $820,000 resurfacing project. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by mid October 2008. 

State Route 87 in Bloomfield and Mesopotamia Townships

(Until further notice)

SR 87 from Combs Rd. to Brigden Rd. is now open. SR 87 between SR 45 and SR 534 will have various lane restrictions for roadway widening and construction. This work is part of a $7.1 million project to widen and resurface SR 87 including the construction of a wide shoulder for horse drawn vehicles. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by fall 2008.

State Route 193 in Vienna Township

(Until further notice)

SR 193 from Smith-Stewart Rd. to Crews Hood Rd. is closed until mid August for a culvert replacement. The detour is I-80 to SR 11 to SR 82. This work is part of a $400,000 project to replace two culverts on SR 193 over Squaw Creek. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by mid September, 2008.

State Route 11 and Niles-Vienna Road in Vienna Township

(Until further notice)

Niles-Vienna Rd. over SR 11 is closed until late October for bridge reconstruction. The detour is US 422 to SR 46 to SR 82. As a reminder, SR 11 under the Niles-Vienna Rd. bridge will have periodic lane restrictions in either or both directions for bridge work. This work is part of a $1 million project to replace the Niles-Vienna Rd. bridge over SR 11. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late October 2008.  

State Route 82 in Vienna and Brookfield Townships

(Until further notice)

SR 82 from SR 193 and US 62 has periodic daily lane restrictions in each direction for striping. This work is part of a $3.2 million resurfacing project from SR 193 to US 62.  The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late summer 2008. 

State Routes 534 and 303 in Braceville, Southington and Farmington Townships

(Until further notice)

SR 534 from SR 82 to SR 88 and SR 303 from SR 82 to the Portage County line will have various daily lane restrictions for resurfacing. During this time, one lane of bi-directional traffic will be maintained with flaggers. This work is part of an $800,000 project to resurface SR 534 from SR 82 to SR 88 and SR 303 from SR 82 to the Portage County line. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by mid September 2008.
