ODOT announces  2012-2015 State Transportation

Improvement Program open house locations 

 

AKRON (Friday, April 1, 2011) – As the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) develops its four year Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) – providing project funding and scheduling information for the department and the state’s metropolitan planning organizations – the department encourages the public to attend and participate in one of their local 2012-2015 STIP open houses. 

District 4, which encompasses Ashtabula, Mahoning, Portage, Stark, Summit and Trumbull Counties, will have four convenient locations for the STIP meetings. (All meetings are from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted). 

·         April 5, 2011 – Stow Safety Building: 3800 Darrow Road, Stow, Ohio, 44224 (7 p.m. to 9 p.m.)

·         April 7, 2011 Eastgate Office: City Center One, 100 E. Federal Street, Youngstown, Ohio, 44503

·         April 12, 2011 ODOT Ashtabula County Garage: 492 Seven Hills Road, Ashtabula, Ohio, 44004

·         April 13, 2011 Stark County District Library: 715 Market Avenue N., Canton, Ohio 44702

The open houses allow the public to review and make comments on future transportation projects.
