U. S. Route 62/U. S. Route 422/State Route 7 in the City of Youngstown

 (Until further notice)

The following lane restrictions/closures are in place on the Madison Avenue Expressway at Valley Street:

·        The Madison Ave. Expressway (US-62/US-422/SR-7) from Wick Ave. to Oak St. may have various daytime lane restrictions for roadway work.

·         Valley St. at the Madison Ave. Expressway (US 62/US 422/SR 7) is closed until early December. For westbound Valley St. traffic, the detour is McHenry St. to Alberts St. to McGuffey Rd. to Andrews Ave. For eastbound Valley St. traffic, the detour is Andrews Ave. to McGuffey Rd. to Palm St. to Star St.         

Access to all residences and establishments will be maintained during construction.

This work is part of a $7.3 million project to rehabilitate the bridges on US 62/US 422/SR7 over Crab Creek, Andrews Ave, Valley St. and the Norfolk Southern railroad. The project includes replacement of the bridge decks and approach slabs as well as substructure repairs. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by mid-June 2010.

U. S. Route 224 in Boardman Township

(Until further notice)

US 224 from Boardman Park Dr. to South Ave. may have various daytime lane restrictions in either or both directions for traffic signal work. This work is part of a $5.2 million project to widen US 224 with the addition of right turn lanes from Boardman Park Dr. to just west of South Ave. The entire project is scheduled to be complete in the spring of 2010. 

Interstate 680 in the City of Youngstown and Austintown Township

(Until further notice)

I-680 between SR 11 and Steel St. may have various lane restrictions in either or both directions for final project work. This work is part of a $4.3 million project to resurface approximately four miles of I-680 from SR 11 to Steel St. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late September 2010.

State Route 11 in the City of Canfield

(Until further notice)

The SR 11 twin bridges over Indian Run between US 224 and Western Reserve Rd. are reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge work. This work is part of a $1.8 million project for the bridge deck replacement and painting of the SR 11 twin bridges over Indian Run between US 224 and Western Reserve Rd. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late October 2010.
