State Route 82 in the City of Macedonia

(Monday night, March 9 – Tuesday morning, March 10)

SR 82 at I-271 will be reduced to one lane with traffic maintained by flaggers for bridge work. This one lane condition will begin at 8 p.m. Monday night, March 9 and will continue until 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, March 10.

This work is part of an $18 million project to widen SR 82 to five lanes from South Bedford Rd. to just east of Crow Dr. with the replacement of the railroad bridge over SR 82 in the City of Macedonia. This project also includes drainage and signal improvements. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late October 2009.

State Route 8 in the Village of Boston Heights

(The week of Monday, March 9)

· SR 8 northbound from SR 303 to just north of Hines Hill Rd. will be reduced to one lane for the placement of portable concrete barrier. These one lane conditions will begin Monday night, March 9, and will continue throughout the week from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly.

This work is part of a $68.4 million project to create a new SR 8 interchange that connects the Ohio Turnpike interchange with Boston Mills and Hines Hill roads through the construction of frontage roads, eliminating the signalized intersections on SR 8 at Boston Mills and Hines Hill roads. The project includes the construction of five new bridges, the extension of Chittenden Rd. to Boston Mills Rd. and the resurfacing of SR 8 from just south of Twinsburg Road to just north of SR 303.
