State Route 541 in Guernsey County Closed Beginning Tuesday, January 17th, 2017
Beginning Tuesday, January 17th, State Route 541 in Guernsey County will be closed in spot locations due to tree trimming. The original start date was set for today, but is now changed to next Tuesday.
Crews will work in the northwest region of Guernsey County between Interstate 77 and State Route 658 on tree trimming using the Jarraff. There will be daily road closures in spot locations between the hours of 7:30AM to 3:30PM. For an alternate route from I-77 to SR658, take 77SB to 40WB, to 209WB, to 658NB. The project is set to be completed on Friday, March 3rd, weather permitting.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
