I-70/SR 310 Interchange Construction Update and Traffic Pattern Changes
Beginning Monday, April 10th, there will be a traffic pattern change at the I-70/SR 310 Interchange.
Both lanes of traffic will shift to the west, with north and southbound traffic traveling on the new bridge with one lane in each direction. During this time, the old northbound bridge will be demolished and the remainder of the new bridge will be constructed. Traffic will begin to shift just before the Duke and Duchess station, and return to its original alignment just past the Dairy Queen. This traffic setup should mirror the current configuration, and is expected to remain in place through the end of the summer. Access to and from I-70 will not be affected.
Message boards were put in place notifying the public of the changes. Motorists wanting to avoid long delays should use an alternate route.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
