Interstate 70 eastbound traffic shift begins tonight
Jacksontown, Ohio (Tuesday, September 17, 2013) – Beginning tonight (Wednesday, September 18) I-70 eastbound traffic will experience a slight shift in the traffic pattern two miles west of SR 79.
I-70 eastbound traffic will be shifted to the median where each of the 12-foot driving lanes will be separated by a permanent median barrier wall.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution through this area and to obey all posted signs.
This work is part of the $10.5 million project to replace and widen the twin I-70 bridges over Canal Rd. Double Z Construction Company is the contractor for this project and the completion date is November 30, 2014.
