Interstate 70 eastbound work will close SR 37 ramp Thursday
Jacksontown, Ohio (Tuesday, September 24, 2013) – Interstate 70 will be restricted one mile west of State Route 79 beginning this Thursday, September 26 for drainage work. This work will also close the on-ramp from State Route 37 to Interstate 70 eastbound.
This work will begin at 7 a.m. and will be completed by 5 p.m., weather permitting. Upon completion of this work the eastbound passing lane will re-open as well as the SR 37 ramp to I-70.
Motorists traveling from SR 37 to I-70 eastbound will detour via SR 37 to U.S. 40 to I-70 eastbound.
This work is a part of a project to replace and widen the twin I-70 bridges located over Canal Rd. which began in March of this year. Double Z Construction Company is the contractor for this $10,570,859.63 project and the completion date is November 30, 2014.
