Interstate 70 westbound pavement repairs rescheduled
Jacksontown, Ohio (Thursday, September 12, 2013) – Due to inclement weather the pavement repairs that were to take place today on I-70 westbound from State Route 79 to State Route 37 have been rescheduled. These repairs will take place next Monday, September 16, weather permitting.
The contractor will be performing this work from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. during which time I-70 westbound traffic will be maintained in the passing lanes.
This work is a part of a project to replace and widen the twin I-70 bridges located over Canal Rd. which began in March of this year. Double Z Construction Company is the contractor for this $10,570,859.63 project and the completion date is November 30, 2014.
