Interstate 70 westbound to be restricted next week beginning at Exit 126
Jacksontown, Ohio (Thursday, May 23, 2013) – Interstate 70 westbound will be restricted next week for two days in Licking County for work relating to the Canal Road bridge replacement project located between Exit 126 (SR 37 Exit) to Exit 129 (SR 79 Exit).
On Wednesday, May 29th, and Thursday, May 30th, westbound traffic on I-70 will be reduced to one lane from Exit 126 (SR 37 Exit) to Exit 129 (SR 79 Exit).
This work will take place between approximately 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Wednesday and Thursday, only. Motorists are urged to plan ahead to avoid any delays.
ODOT’s contractor for this $10.5 million project is Double Z Construction Company, from Columbus, Ohio and the completion date for this project is November 30th, 2013.
