SR 83 bridge replacement project begins next Monday
Jacksontown, Ohio (Monday, March 24, 2014) – Work is set to begin next Monday, March 31, on the replacement of a SR 83 bridge in New Concord, just south of US Route 22 in Muskingum County.
During construction, southbound traffic will be maintained at all times in one, 11-foot width lane. Northbound traffic south of New Concord will be detoured via I-70 west, to SR 723, to US 22, back to SR 83.
Double Z Construction is ODOT’s contractor for this $1.2 million project and the completion date is October 15, 2014.
