SR 16 WB on ramp from
Thornwood Crossing (Cherry Valley Interchange) to close for 30 days beginning
Tuesday, March 21st
March 21st, the SR 16 WB on ramp from Thornwood Crossing (Cherry Valley
Interchange) will close for 30 days to remove full depth concrete on SR 16 at
the old Cherry Valley intersection.
concrete that needs to be removed from the old intersection extends back near
the bottom of the on ramp making it unsafe for ramp traffic to merge onto SR
16. Traffic will be detoured to Church Street, to the east. Two lanes will be
maintained on SR 16 with 10’ width restrictions.
traveling NB on Thornwood Crossing should use the following detour. SR 16 EB,
to Country Club Drive/Church Street exit approximately one mile east , turn left at
the bottom of the ramp onto Church Street, turn left onto West Church Street,
and then continue onto SR 16 WB.
traveling SB on Thornwood Crossing should also use the same detour. The same
operation will occur EB with the off ramp once the WB is completed.
