Traffic pattern change on SR 79 at the I-70 Interchange beginning Monday, April 10th, 2017
Beginning Monday, April 10th, there will be a traffic pattern change on SR 79 at the I-70 Interchange in Licking County.
One lane of traffic will continue to be maintained on SR 79 in each direction. Motorists traveling southbound on SR 79 will be shifted to the east onto the existing northbound bridge. Access to all interchange ramps and loops will be maintained.
Traffic will be maintained in this pattern for the next several months as crews work to replace the existing SR 79 bridge that carries southbound traffic over I-70.
The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
