SR 79 closure postponed to Wednesday
Jacksontown, Ohio (Monday, December 16, 2013) – Due to weather, the SR 79 closure one north of Newark in Licking County that was set to begin today has been postponed to this Wednesday, December 18. The closure will now take place Wednesday through Friday in order for ODOT’s maintenance crew to replace a culvert.
SR 79 will close south of Stewart Rd. to Cedar Run Rd. and is expected to reopen on Friday, December 20, at 5 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists will detour via SR 16 east, to SR 586 north, back to SR 79, and reverse.
