State Route 13 roadway stabilization project begins next Monday
Jacksontown, Ohio (Monday, July 22, 2013) – Preparation work will begin next Monday, July 29 on State Route 13 for a roadway stabilization project located about three miles south of Newark in Licking County. Construction includes the widening of State Route 13 for the addition of a retaining wall to stabilize the roadway.
Beginning Monday, August 5 this work will close SR 13 for 45 days between Hopewell Dr. and Dorsey Mill Rd. for construction.
Motorists will be detoured via U.S. 40 to SR 79 to SR 16 back to SR 13.
Shelly & Sands is the contractor for this $487,861 project and the completion date is November 31, 2013.
