State Route 256 to be closed next week for multiple culvert replacements​​

Jacksontown, Ohio (Tuesday, May 14, 2013)Beginning next Tuesday, May 21st, State Route 256 in Fairfield County will be closed for multiple culvert replacements.

ODOT maintenance crews will be replacing three culverts just south of New Salem on SR 256 between Township Road 71 (New Salem Rd.)  and the SR 256 and SR 13 intersection. 

The road will only be closed during daytime hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and this work should be completed within four days.

Beginning at the intersection of SR 256 and SR 188, traffic will be detoured east on SR 188 to SR 204 in Thornville, then east on SR 204 to SR 13, then south on SR 13 back to SR 256, and reverse.
