State Route 660 bridge replacement project requires future closure
Jacksontown, Ohio (Thursday, August 29, 2013) – A project to replace two bridges on SR 660 began this week just east of Byesville between North Star Rd. and Lucasburg Rd. in Guernsey County.
Traffic is currently being maintained with flaggers but a future road closure is necessary in order for this work to progress.
SR 660 will close for 14 days beginning Monday, September 16 and expected to be reopened by Sunday, September 29, weather permitting.
Traffic will be detoured via SR 660 to SR 209 to SR 821 to SR 313 back to SR 660.
ODOT’s contractor for this $294,258 project is Shelly & Sands, Inc., and the completion date is October 15, 2013.
