Three nighttime closures will occur on US 62 next week for culvert work
Jacksontown, Ohio (Thursday, July 18, 2013) – Next Monday, July 22, US Route 62 will be closed at three separate locations during nighttime hours. Work will progress from the south to the north on US 62 beginning two miles west of Martinsburg and ending just south of Millwood.
The following information provides a schedule for the separate closures and locations on US 62 that begin Monday evening and end next Saturday morning.. Each closure will be in place from 6:30 p.m. until 6 a.m. on the following dates:
· Monday, July 22- Tuesday, July 23: About 2 miles west of Martinsburg
o Detour: via SR 13 to SR 586 back to US 62.
· Wednesday, July 23 – Thursday, July 24 – About 2 miles north of Martinsburg
o Detour: via SR 541 to SR 206 to US 36 to SR 229 back to US 62
· Thursday, July 24 – Saturday, July 26 – Just south of Millwood.
o Detour via: SR 229 to US 36 back to US 62
Work is to be completed by Saturday, July 26 at 6:30 a.m., weather permitting.
