U.S. 40 project will close road for 30 days
Jacksontown, Ohio (Wednesday, July 24, 2013) – U.S. 40 will close for 30 days beginning next Thursday, August 1 for the rock slope stabilization project between Arrowhead Rd. and Brick Rd. in Guernsey County.
During the closure, traffic will be detoured onto U.S. 40 to SR 285 to U.S. 22 to I-77 back to U.S. 40.
Preparation work for this project began last week, traffic has been maintained with flaggers.
All work is expected to be complete by September 30. Trucco Construction Company will be the contractor on this $1.4 million project.
