Potholes are a common nuisance, particularly during the winter season when the freeze/thaw cycle helps weaken the pavement. Roadways with a high volume of traffic are particularly prone to pothole formation.

The City of Columbus is responsible for maintaining residential streets, and portions of major arterials. To report a pothole on a city maintained roadway click here.

The Ohio Department of Transportation is responsible for maintaining Interstate, US Routes, and State Routes (except US Routes, and State Routes inside city limits).
