The following work is planned in the Delaware County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28
Interstate 71 – (NEW) The ramp from I-71 south to US 36 will be closed from 4 a.m. to 7 a.m. for resurfacing. The detour is I-71 south to Gemini Place to I-71 north to US 36.
Interstate 71/US Route 36 Interchange– (NEW) Crews will be paving US 36 at I-71 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained where the road narrows at the interchange. Crews will also be paving the I-71 south entrance and exit ramps.
MONDAY, OCTOBER 29
US Route 36 – (NEW) Crews will be paving US 36 at I-71 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Motorists should expect delays. One lane of two-way traffic will be maintained where the road narrows at the interchange. Completion: Friday, November 2.
US Route 36 – US 36 will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Bob Evans Drive and Wilson Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for signal installation. Completion: October 27.
Glick Road – Beginning Wednesday, October 24, Glick Road will close in both directions at SR 257 for reconstruction. The detour is SR 745 to Home Road to SR 257. Completion: October 31.
State Route 257 – SR 257 is reduced to one lane in each direction between Stratford Avenue and West Olentangy Street for the SR 257 widening project.
This $3 million project will widen SR 257 from two lanes to four lanes between Glick Road and the Columbus Zoo delivery entrance. Estimated completion: November 2012.
