The following work is planned in the Delaware County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
MONDAY, MAY 7
State Route 229 – (NEW) Starting at 8 a.m., SR 229 will close in both directions at US 42 for culvert replacement. The detour is SR 229 to US 42 to SR 529 to SR 61 to SR 229 or reverse. Completion date: May 10.
TUESDAY, MAY 8
US Route 23 – (NEW) US 23 will be reduced to one lane in each direction at SR 229 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement work. Completion: May 9.
US Route 42 – Starting at 7 a.m., US 42 will be reduced to one lane of two-way traffic between SR 257 and SR 745 for bridge work. Traffic will be maintained using a temporary signal. Completion date: June 11.
State Route 257 – SR 257 is reduced to one lane in each direction between Stratford Avenue and West Olentangy Street for the SR 257 widening project.
This $3 million project will widen SR 257 from two lanes to four lanes between Glick Road and the Columbus Zoo delivery entrance. Estimated completion: October 2012.
