The following work is planned in the Madison County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
TUESDAY, JUNE 12
Interstate 70 – (NEW) I-70 will be reduced to one lane between SR 29 and SR 142 from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. for pavement repair. At 7 a.m. an additional lane will be open. By 10 a.m. all lanes will be open.
State Route 323 – SR 323 is closed in both directions between Yankeetown-Chenoweth and Bragg for bridge replacement. The road will be closed for 90 days. The detour is SR 323 to SR 38 to I-71 to SR 56 to SR 323 or reverse. Estimated completion: June 19.
Taylor-Blair Road – Starting at 7 a.m., Taylor-Blair Road will close in both directions between US 40 and King Pike for bridge replacement. The detour is Taylor-Blair Road to US 40 to Middle Pike to King Pike to Taylor-Blair Road. Estimated completion date: October 31.
