The following work is planned in the Delaware County area on the specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 14
US Route 23 – (NEW) US 23 south will be reduced to one lane at Cheshire Road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. for pavement repair.
US Route 36/ State Route 3 – Starting at 7 a.m. on September 21, US 36/SR 3 will be closed in both directions between Condit Road and Old 3C for bridge and culvert work. The road will remain closed for 40 days. The detour will be SR 229 to SR 656 to SR 61 or SR 314 to SR 656 to SR 61. Signs are going up today advising motorists of the closure in one week.
Catherine Street – Catherine Street will close at 7 a.m. between Winter Street and William Street for culvert work. The road will be closed for 60 days. The detour is Elizabeth Street to Winter Street to Liberty Street. Completion date: October 17.
