The following work is planned in the Pickaway County area on the
specified dates and times. All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed
or cancelled without prior notice.
WORK AFTER THE HOLIDAY
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
Darby Creek Road – (NEW) Beginning at 7 a.m., Darby Creek Road will
close in both directions just south of SR 762 for a culvert replacement. The
detour is Darby Creek Road to Scioto Darby Road to London Road to US 62 to SR
762 or reverse.
762 will remain open; however, there will be a temporary traffic signal for
both directions of traffic on SR 762 at the intersection of Darby Creek Road.
Both eastbound and westbound SR 762 traffic must stop at the signal when
the light is red. Completion: October 6.
State Route 56 – SR 56 is reduced to one lane between Township Road
181 (Davis Rd) and Township Road 182 (Douglas Rd.) for bridge repairs. Both
directions of traffic will be maintained using a temporary traffic signal. Completion:
U.S. Route 62 – US
62 is closed in both directions between Columbus Street and Stahl Road for
bridge replacement over the Big Darby Creek.
The detour will be US 62 to SR 56 west into Mt. Sterling to I-71 north
to US 62 or reverse. Completion: October 30
