Gemini Extension Project Update
In Delaware County
DELAWARE – (NEW) East
Powell Road is expected to reopen in its new alignment at Worthington Road Tuesday
night, weather permitting. The new E. Powell and Worthington Road intersection
is slightly north of the old intersection.
In the graphic below, the traffic signal marks the new intersection
of E. Powell and Worthington Road.
The last portion of the Gemini project is a closure of Worthington Road between Polaris Parkway and E. Powell Road in early October so that crews can build the new alignment of Worthington Road and connect the new intersection to the Gemini extension. Before Worthington Road closes, the new Gemini extension will open, which should help to reduce the impact to traffic.
