East Side Impacts
I-270 North between
I-670 and SR 161
night kicks off another weekend of extensive concrete repairs on I-270
north between I-670 and SR 161, weather permitting. This will be the last
weekend of work northbound. Weekend work on I-270 south will follow.
drivers who are heading to Easton, Westerville or New Albany this
weekend, ODOT advises drivers to read the signs and pick your lane early
to get through the work zone safely.

The Morse Road exit will not take you through to I-270 north. That lane
is an exit only lane for Morse Road. To continue on I-270 north, drivers
will need to use the two right lanes.

FRIDAY, JUNE 23 - MONDAY, JUNE 26
- 8 PM: I-270 north thru lanes
will close north of Hamilton Road. Prior to Easton, northbound
traffic must stay right of the concrete barrier.
- 8 PM: The ramp from US 62 west
to I-270 north will close.
Detour: US 62 west to I-270 south to SR 317 (Hamilton Road) to I-270
- 8 PM: The ramp from SR 161
east to I-270 north will close.
Detour: SR 161 east to Sunbury Road to SR 161 west to I-270 north
- 5 AM Monday: All lanes and ramps will
concrete repairs are part of a $14 million project that is widening the
I-670/270 interchange as well as raising the Goshen Bridge over I-270.
The entire project is expected to be complete this fall.
